Telephone Appointments - Introduction
This module presents a modern approach to making Telephone Appointments and has been successfully implemented by many Sales People. The techniques described have been successfully tried and tested and represent a professional approach that is acceptable to both you and the customer. This module does not encourage ‘hard sell’ or unacceptable cold calling tactics and is designed to give you a comfortable and effective sales routine. It is designed to deal with all aspects of the TeleSelling sequence and covers the most commonly encountered problems and objections in a systematic way. The information and sales techniques contained will assist you in carrying out your job more effectively and hence more profitably for both you and your company. It is likely that you have already developed sales skills and personal attributes from your past work and experiences, whatever methods you have used in the past can be replaced or where appropriate complemented by the new techniques in this workshop. You are
not expected to discard all your own personal techniques that may have
proved successful for you previously, but please consider that the methods
contained in this module have proved to be the most effective for winning
new business and expanding existing accounts. |
